Let’s continue the descriptions of baseball gloves for each player in the field. The second baseman, shortstop and third baseman are collectively known as the infielders. Their baseball gloves are smaller than the rest of the gloves that enable them to pass the ball without difficulty to the other hand. Given this ability, it is faster for them to throw the ball and get the offensive team out of the game.

If a baseball was hit and seemed to be flying, the only hope to get it is through the outfielder’s gloves. These equipments are specifically designed to catch balls in the air with its long fingers which is about an inch or two longer than the usual gloves. Though they need to throw the ball once caught, the main goal is to catch the flying baseballs.

  • Aw, this was a really quality post. In theory I’d like to write like this too – taking time and real effort to make a good article… but what can I say… I procrastinate alot and never seem to get something done.
