Not all players opt in having a baseball bat accessory unless deem necessary. If you are comfortable in using the aluminum bat or composite bat, you might not look for something to give you a good grip. Grips are not typically easy while using wooden baseball bat, which is why the use of a grip tape or pine tar is highly recommended.

Athletic grip tape can be purchased in your favorite baseball equipment retailer and needed to be wrapped around your wooden bat’s handle. This would be a good help in attaining a good quality grip.

If you find yourself being offered with a rag during a baseball practice, do not be shocked. Pine tar is more popular than the grip tape and is commonly applied on rags to make your bat handle easier to grip. This brown substance is sticky and quite annoying to some people. Now, if you have a wooden bat make sure that your pine tar or grip tape comes in handy with it.
